Safari, One Last Time

You know all those natural history programs you watched on public television? The northern circuit is just that minus Sir David Attenborough's voice in the background. We had our last fill of safari with incredible "endless plains" or Serengeti in Maasai, the perfect caldera of Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara's arboreal lions, and Tarangire's massive elephant tusk carved baobabs.

Holy Mole

Ghana's answer to a cheap safari? Mole National Park, of course!

I was fortunate to meet up with some of its inhabitants during an early morning hike.

Warthogs everywhere
