Rajasthan is known for it's palaces, forts and maharaja. Recommended by a Marc's friend, we spent a night of luxury at Laxmi Vilas Palace for a taste of the royal life. Compared to Agra, Bharatpur is sleepy and quiet. In fact if you love birds, it's situated close to Keoladeo National Park, a prime refuge for over 300 species of birds.
